🏌️ Cameron Young Wins… After Penalizing Himself
Share
📰 The Straight Shot:
Cameron Young delivered a dominant, wire-to-wire win at the Cadillac Championship, finishing six shots ahead of the field and never really being threatened.
Early in the final round, though, he created his own moment of drama. On the second hole, Young noticed his ball had slightly moved as he addressed it. Even though no one else saw it—and he wasn't completely certain what caused it—he called over an official and accepted a one-stroke penalty on himself.
Instead of it derailing his round, he calmly recovered, saved par on the hole, and continued to control the tournament the rest of the way.
😂 Golf Gags Take
Imagine playing so well that your biggest competition…
is your own conscience.
Everyone else is trying to chase you down,
and you're out there like:
"Hold on guys, I might've made this slightly too easy for myself."
It's basically the golf version of:
- giving your buddies a head start
- tying one hand behind your back
- and still lapping them
🎯 The Punch
Cameron Young didn't just beat the field—he beat the field and tried to nerf himself mid-round.
